About Sylvania Country Club
Founded in 1916, Sylvania’s unique and challenging golf course was designed by internationally famous designer and British amateur champion, Willie Park Jr. 2016 marked the 100th anniversary of Sylvania Country Club. The club invested approximately $2.4 million, through a member-funded campaign, to update the club to accommodate the needs of its membership and to attract new families. Renovations included: Expanded Short Game Golf Practice Facility, New Hard Tennis Court, Member Centennial Grille Room renovation featuring modern décor, and contemporary menus, an Aquatics Center and Pool Pavilion featuring a zero depth entry pool, a full-service café and family entertainment area.
